Do you need one more “last week before the holidays” activity?🎄🎶⁣ I don’t know about you, but I’m tired and ready for a break!😅 Lucky for you, I’m offering a great no prep, printable holiday activity that is sure to engage your students this holiday season.

For our final week of music classes, my older students are completing the ‘Home Alone’ Movie Music Soundtrack Analysis Task. The goal with this music lesson plan is to get students to watch the movie, listen closely to the musical soundtrack, and get them to describe how the music helps to support and enhance the scenes in the movie.

Just print and go!  While students watch the movie, they can critically listen and respond to how the musical soundtrack (and musical elements used) support what is happening in the scene. It’s engaging for students, integrates music, and requires no prep from you.😉

Note: You can access the Home Alone soundtrack on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, or here.
