LESSON IDEA:
1) Teacher may select cards randomly, or put students in pairs to select cards. Student A chooses a movement card and Student B chooses an adverb card.
2) At the teacher’s signal, students completes the movement card in the style of the adverb card (i.e. skipping happily). When the teacher signals to stop, students return their card and grab another.
This is an excellent activity to get students comfortable moving in different ways! Perfect activity to combine dance and literacy through the use of vocabulary and strengthen their overall learning experience, knowledge and understanding.
